YardSteel is an Australian business specialising in steel garden edging and related products. References to “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to YardSteel.

3. Orders and Acceptance

  • All orders are subject to availability and acceptance.
  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for reasons including errors in product or pricing information, payment issues, or suspected fraud.
  • An order confirmation email is an acknowledgement of receipt, not acceptance of your order.

4. Prices and Payment

  • All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.
  • We reserve the right to change prices at any time.
  • Payment must be made at the time of ordering via Shopify Payments, PayPal, Afterpay, or other available methods.

5. Shipping and Delivery

Our products are heavy (typically 1.3–1.8kg per metre) and shipped via courier. Shipping costs and delivery estimates are shown at checkout. Delivery times are estimates only and additional charges may be requested, YardSteel is not responsible for courier delays once an order has been dispatched.

6. Risk and Ownership

Ownership of goods passes to you once full payment is received. Risk of loss or damage passes to you upon delivery to your specified address.

7. Returns and Refunds

  • If an item is faulty or damaged, contact us as soon as possible with photos and order details.
  • We comply with your rights under Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
  • Change-of-mind returns may be accepted at our discretion. Return shipping costs and restocking fees may apply.

8. Product Information

We aim to describe products accurately. However, slight variations in colour or finish (especially with Corten/weathering steel) may occur and are not considered defects.

9. Warranty

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on this website (text, images, graphics, and logos) is owned or licensed by YardSteel. You may not copy or reproduce content without written permission.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, YardSteel is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the Site or products. Our total liability is limited to the purchase price of the goods involved.

13. Promotions and Discounts

Promotional offers, codes, and gift cards are subject to their own terms and may expire without notice. Only one discount code may be used per order unless stated otherwise.
